What You Will Do:

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a CORE, Data Strategy, and Governance Lead. This M6 role is pivotal in driving operational excellence across our Commercial Engines Operations organization and network by integrating robust data strategies and governance frameworks with CORE principles to deliver measurable performance improvements.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in digital technology and data management, combined with a deep understanding of the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) business. They will be passionate about leveraging CORE methodologies to optimize processes, enhance decision-making, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute data strategy and governance initiatives that align with Commercial Engines Operations' objectives to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities within data processes, leveraging CORE principles to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance outcomes for the MRO network.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data needs, ensuring alignment with business goals and improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee the design, optimization, and standardization of data management processes to enhance data quality, accessibility, and security while driving improved operational performance.
  • Work closely with IT and digital technology teams to integrate cutting-edge solutions that advance data analytics, reporting capabilities, and overall decision-making.
  • Establish and promote policies, standards, and compliance frameworks that support robust data governance while fostering a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in data strategy, governance, and CORE methodologies, offering guidance and support to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in data strategy and governance.

Where You Will Work From:
  • This role will be based at our East Hartford, CT site
  • We will consider having this role based at our West Palm Beach, FL site for Pratt & Whitney employees presently working at this site. No relocation to this site will be offered.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Advanced Degree and 10+ years of experience in data strategy, governance, digital technology or project management role, ideally with a focus on large-scale operational environments; OR Bachelor's degree and 12 years of relevant industry experience.
  • 4+ years of management experience leading cross-functional teams and direct reports.

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Advanced degree in information systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Project Management or Engineering.
  • Familiarity with the aviation MRO business and its associated data requirements.
  • Proven expertise in data governance frameworks, data quality management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and data management platforms (e.g., SAP, Databricks).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
  • CORE certification or experience with continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
