Senior System Administrator

Job Responsibilities:
- Support a mixed Windows/Linux environment on VMware vSphere and OpenStack.
- Handle patching, monitoring, incidents, and change control with solid documentation.
- Work well with the security team on hardening and remediation.
- Comfortable with segmented networks/least-privilege designs and multi-site operations.
- 10+ years of experience across a broad range of Windows/Linux/Virtualization technologies in professional roles
Required Skills:
- Active Directory user/group management, understanding of Group Policy
- Managing DHCP and DNS on either Windows or Linux
- STIG hardening concepts for servers, desktops, and network devices
- Management of system updates/patches for Windows and/or Linux
- Hands-on experience with virtualization; Linux KVM/OpenStack and/or vSphere
- Experience with troubleshooting complex technical issues across multiple layers
- Understanding of networking; including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewall policies, basic routing
Desired Skills:
- Experience managing OpenStack; including overcloud and undercloud updates and tenant management
- SAN/NAS operations/concepts; iSCSI, NFS, SMB, snapshots, replication
- Container creation/maintenance; utilizing Docker and/or Podman
- Kubernetes operations; ability to troubleshoot issues in a cluster
- Scripting and automation experience with Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, and/or Python
- Familiarity with Cisco/Juniper CLIs and configurations
- Experience managing Microsoft Exchange
- Experience managing Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
