Job Title: PostgreSQL DBA with MySQL, Snowflake & Azure Cloud

We are looking for an experienced PostgreSQL Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in MySQL, Snowflake, and Azure Cloud to support and optimize enterprise database environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in database administration, performance tuning, backup & recovery, security, and cloud-based database management.

Required Skills:

• 8–10 years of experience as a Database Administrator.

• Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL Administration.

• Experience administering MySQL databases in production environments.

• Working knowledge of Snowflake administration, performance optimization, and security.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud, including Azure Database Services.

• Expertise in database installation, configuration, upgrades, migrations, and patching.

• Strong knowledge of backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions.

• Experience with database performance tuning, indexing, query optimization, and monitoring.

• Knowledge of database security, user management, encryption, and compliance best practices.

• Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident troubleshooting.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD processes.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/ARM Templates) is a plus.

• Experience working in Healthcare or other regulated environments.

• Exposure to multi-cloud database environments is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, monitor, and maintain PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Snowflake databases.

• Perform database installation, upgrades, migrations, and patch management.

• Ensure high availability, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery readiness.

• Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies.

• Troubleshoot database issues and provide production support.

• Implement database security standards and compliance requirements.

• Collaborate with application, cloud, and infrastructure teams for database deployments.

• Automate routine DBA tasks using scripting and automation tools.

• Support Azure-based database solutions and optimize cloud database performance.
