The Associate Security Engineer will have the opportunity to contribute to our enterprise network and security initiatives. This position offers hands-on involvement in the design, configuration, and troubleshooting of network security solutions. The ideal candidate will support our senior network security engineers while learning the ropes of firewall platforms, routing protocols, and foundational networking concepts to help maintain a secure, reliable environment.

What you're good at:
  • You live security beyond managing security technology and embrace continuous learning.
  • You are able to quickly understand complex problems and come up with simple solutions during troubleshooting and incident response.
  • Ability to communicate well with teams and leaders - strong written and verbal skills to explain technical issues clearly, write concise documentation, and listen actively.
  • Good organization and attention to detail: you keep documentation, notes, and tasks well structured and follow procedures carefully.
  • A problem-solving mindset: approach issues methodically, hypothesize, test, and learn from results.
  • Teamwork oriented: collaborate well with senior engineers and peers, accept feedback, and contribute positively to group efforts.

What you have

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 0-3 years of experience in network or security engineering, or a related role.
  • Relevant certifications like, Network+, CCNA, Security+, JNCIA, PCNSA, are a plus but not required.
