Job Description

ECS is seeking a Web Software Developer to work remotely . Please Note: This position is contingent upon additional funding.

We are seeking a Web Software Developer to design, build, and deploy scalable, cloud-native web applications on AWS. This role focuses on modern containerized architectures, Kubernetes-based deployments, and full-stack web development. Candidates will work in an agile, cloud-first environment.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop cloud-native web applications using AWS infrastructure
Deploy and manage applications in Amazon EKS
Build, containerize, and maintain services using Docker and Kubernetes
Develop scalable backend services using:

Node.js
Python
Django
Go (nice to have)

Build and maintain modern front-end applications using React
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability
Follow best practices for CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and container orchestration
Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews

Required Skills

Active Secret Clearance
Strong experience with AWS-native infrastructure
Hands-on experience deploying applications to EKS
Solid understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, or other scalable container technologies
Backend development experience with Node.js, Python, and/or Django
Front-end development experience with React
Experience building and supporting scalable web applications

Desired Skills

Strong understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and cloud security best practices
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams
Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, data, and platform teams
