Key Responsibilities
Autosys Administration
• Administer and maintain Autosys Workload Automation environments (Production, DR, Non-Prod).
• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Autosys components (Scheduler, Agents, WCC, EEM).
• Administer and support Autosys WCC for monitoring and visualization.
• Configure dashboards, job views, alerts, and notifications.
• Perform WCC upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Provide operational support using WCC for batch monitoring and incident resolution.
• Integrate WCC with Autosys schedulers and validate data consistency.
• Manage EEM security, user access, and role-based permissions.
• Create and maintain Autosys roles, privileges, and LDAP/AD integrations.
• Perform access audits and compliance checks.
• Troubleshoot authentication and authorization issues related to Autosys and WCC
• Perform job creation, modification, and optimization using JIL.
• Manage calendars, resources, boxes, alarms, job dependencies, and conditions.
• Monitor daily batch operations and ensure SLA adherence.
• Troubleshoot Autosys job failures, agent issues, and scheduler performance problems.
• Perform Autosys housekeeping, log maintenance, and database cleanup activities.
• Support DR drills and implement HA/Failover strategies for Autosys.
Automic AAI (Application Analytics & Intelligence)
• Integrate Autosys with Automic AAI for workload analytics.
• Configure AAI data feeds, jobs, and forecasting models.
• Analyze critical paths, SLA risks, and job dependencies using AAI.
• Use AAI insights for proactive issue prevention and workload optimization.
• Support business and application teams with AAI reporting and dashboards.
Cloud & Infrastructure Knowledge
• Support Autosys workloads running on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Manage Autosys agents on cloud-based VMs and containers (where applicable).
• Understand cloud-native services impacting scheduling (EC2/VMs, storage, networking).
• Coordinate with cloud and infrastructure teams for capacity planning and scaling.
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments (IAM, NSGs, security groups).
