Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Director of Business Development to join our team. This is a remote position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and building and maintaining relationships to fuel our growth in the US market. The ideal candidate will have a solid experience of 8-10 years in sales, business development, and strategy roles, and a proven track record of driving net new business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
   2. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
   3. Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective customer s business needs.
   4. Develop relationships with prospective clients while maintaining existing client relationships.
   5. Navigate and influence multiple cross-functional teams to ensure the achievement of business objectives.
   6. Partner with the marketing team to align sales strategies and solutions.
   7. Negotiate and close business deals that promote sustained revenue.
   8. Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics.
   9. Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.

Key Requirements:

1. Proven work experience as a Director of Business Development, Sales Director or similar senior sales role.
   2. Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors.
   3. Demonstratable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions.
   4. Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
   5. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, CRM software, and sales automation tools.
   6. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
   7. Self-motivated and able to thrive in a result-driven environment.
   8. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
   9. Strong business sense and industry expertise.
   10. Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
   11. Experience in Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales or relevant field; MBA preferred.
