- Build, integrate, and consume AI/ML services such as NLP, recommendation, or classification models through RESTful or event-driven interfaces
- Consume AI services hosted on AWS SageMaker, containerized environments (ECS/Fargate), or third-party intelligent APIs
- Deploy, manage, and support microservices using AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, ECS, S3, CloudFormation, and Aurora PostgreSQL
- Translate AI/ML outputs into explainable backend decision engines or intuitive user interfaces
- Integrate enterprise components using REST, SOAP, EJB, and secure web service standards
- Verify accuracy and completeness of applications through unit, integration, and system testing using representative data
- Apply secure coding standards, participate in code reviews, and contribute to test-driven development pipelines
- Develop reusable components, SDKs, and utilities to accelerate AI feature adoption across systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business and operational requirements
- Support application performance tuning, concurrency management, and scalable service architecture
- Design solutions that meet accessibility standards (508 compliance) and data security requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development or maintenance.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems analysis and enterprise programming.
- 8+ years in Java/J2EE development, with deep experience using Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, and RESTful APIs.
- 3+ years of experience working with AWS cloud services, including Lambda, S3, RDS/Aurora, API Gateway, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- 2+ years of experience integrating or consuming AI/ML services, including AWS SageMaker, pre-trained models (e.g., NLP, classification), or intelligent APIs.
- Proficiency in Python or scripting languages for handling data flows and ML model interfacing is a strong plus.
- Experience developing UI components in Angular 12+, JavaScript, TypeScript, and JSON-based dynamic rendering.
- Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud-native DevOps, containerization, and infrastructure as code (Terraform or AWS CDK) preferred.
- Ability to design for accessibility (508 compliance) and secure data processing in regulated systems.
- Understanding of concurrency, application performance tuning, and scalable web service architecture.
