The Opportunity
StaffRight Associates has been retained by an industry-leading global chemical technology leader to identify a remote Business Development Executive. In this high-impact strategic role, you will champion commercial growth within the semiconductor sector by engaging key client decision-makers and securing technical product qualifications. Operating as a pivotal bridge between commercial strategy, technical feasibility, and cross-functional operations, you will propel high-value opportunities from initial qualification to long-term commercialization.
What You’ll Do
Drive product evaluation and technical qualification agreements by engaging and securing consensus from customer procurement leadership.
Architect comprehensive import transportation cost simulations for goods sourced from overseas parent operations.
Negotiate mutually beneficial product specifications directly with customer quality assurance leadership.
Cultivate early-stage client relationships alongside sales teams, managing account transitions to core sales personnel as commercial accounts mature into regular operations.
Formulate end-to-end operational workflows spanning warehousing, freight handling, regulatory filings, international logistics, and customs processing in tandem with domestic manufacturing and quality assurance groups.
Enforce strict adherence to all relevant regulatory frameworks, including chemical safety protocols, tariff structures, duty allowances, and chemical substance inventory mandates.
Synthesize operational intelligence and maintain active communication streams with international parent company counterparts to ensure seamless organizational alignment.
Represent the enterprise across key industrial platforms, including technical symposiums, trade expositions, and standard-setting industry consortiums.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related Technical Field (Master’s Degree preferred).
5+ Years of professional experience (7+ years preferred), with at least half a decade dedicated to the semiconductor domain.
Semiconductor Industry Knowledge, including domain expertise in Etching Agents utilized within Front-End Chip Fabrication Process applications.
Engineering Background with a proven track record in Technical Sales, Procurement, or Business Development Programs.
Core Competencies encompassing Teamwork, Initiative, Multicultural Sensitivity, and Interpersonal Communication.
Ability to execute up to 40% domestic and international travel.
Compensation & Total Rewards
Base Salary: $109,000 to $137,000 annually (commensurate with experience).
Incentives: Sign-on bonus and 8–12% annual performance bonus potential.
