Global Cybersecurity IAM Analyst Position Overview The Global Cybersecurity IAM Analyst is responsible for implementing and maintaining robust identity and access management (IAM) strategies and solutions to protect the organization's digital assets. This role partners closely with business and application teams to ensure appropriate access controls are in place and aligned with organizational needs. The position reports to the Global Cybersecurity IAM Director.
Key Responsibilities IAM Expertise & Strategy - Serve as a subject matter expert across identity solutions, IAM applications, platforms, frameworks, Active Directory, privileged account management, synchronization, provisioning, and PKI.
- Understand and articulate the company's IAM strategy to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Evaluate IAM tools and technologies and recommend solutions aligned with business needs.
Governance, Policies & Compliance - Assist with developing, enforcing, and remediating IAM-related policies, standards, and procedures.
- Participate in audits and perform access management walkthroughs to address control deficiencies.
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies, ethical practices, and regulatory requirements.
Operations & Administration - Lead IAM projects from inception to completion, including planning, resource coordination, and timeline management.
- Manage daily operational IAM activities and ensure prompt resolution of escalations.
- Administer user accounts, groups, and access privileges in the organization's IAM systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IAM solutions into the enterprise environment.
Metrics, Reporting & Risk Management - Develop IAM metrics, KPIs, and concise reports for senior leadership to measure program progress and effectiveness.
- Identify IAM-related risks and apply mitigation strategies to prevent unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Ensure strong authentication mechanisms and MFA practices are implemented and maintained.
Identity Lifecycle & Access Controls - Design and oversee end-to-end identity lifecycle processes, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and access reviews.
- Implement and enforce role-based access control (RBAC), entitlement management, and other access control mechanisms.
- Design and manage privileged access management (PAM) solutions to secure and monitor privileged activities.
Other Duties - Translate complex security concepts into business terms easily understood by executive leadership.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications Technical Expertise - In-depth knowledge of IAM principles, best practices, and methodologies.
- Proven experience managing IAM technologies and solutions to safeguard digital assets.
- Strong incident response capabilities related to IAM security events.
- Skilled in developing governance processes and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Ability to define, track, and present KPIs related to IAM activities.
- Competent in assessing IAM risks and implementing mitigation plans.
- Experience designing and implementing strong authentication and MFA solutions.
- Proficient in identity lifecycle management, user access reviews, and entitlement processes.
- Strong understanding of security concepts and their application within IAM.
- Experience with RBAC and designing access control frameworks.
- Proficiency with privileged access management solutions.

Education & Experience - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management.
- Deep understanding of IAM concepts, technologies, and frameworks.
- Experience with Access Management tools such as Microsoft Azure, Okta, Oracle, or Ping Identity.
