A busy, locally owned automotive shop in Shabbona, IL is seeking General Service, C-Level, B-Level, and A-Level Automotive Technicians. This Monday?Friday opportunity offers $25?$45/hour based on experience, skill level, and production, with earning potential of $50,000?$100,000+. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general automotive repairs and preventive maintenance
- Complete brake, suspension, steering, and cooling system repairs
- Perform engine-performance and drivability repairs
- Complete routine diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Perform Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI)
- Complete accurate and efficient repairs
- Take on more advanced repairs as skills develop
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of current or recent professional automotive technician experience
- Strong mechanical repair skills
- Routine diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Positive, team-first attitude
- Desire to continue learning and developing skills
- Valid driver?s license
- ASE Certifications preferred
- Digital Vehicle Inspection experience preferred
- Familiarity with shop management software preferred
- Electrical and drivability diagnostic experience preferred
