Advantage Technical is hiring a Data Analyst for a healthcare organization where your work in R, Python, and SQL directly improves how products and services are measured, reported, and optimized. What You'll Do:
- Build and maintain data pipelines using Python and SQL to create analytical datasets
- Perform data quality control, ensuring accuracy, documentation, and transparency throughout
- Conduct statistical analysis - descriptive stats, hypothesis testing, and regression modeling
- Develop dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Shiny, or R Markdown that enhance storytelling and interpretation
- Collaborate across teams to define metrics, analytical plans, and output requirements
- Manage multiple projects, estimate timelines, and deliver results on schedule
- Maintain data security and governance compliance across all work
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or data management (graduate training may substitute)
- Fluency in R and/or Python for data science tasks
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts
- Experience delivering data pipelines, reports, visualizations, or dashboards
- Strong grasp of statistical concepts - standard errors, hypothesis testing, bias-variance tradeoffs, regression
- Familiarity with Git, Databricks, or cloud-based data engineering tools preferred
- Healthcare data experience a plus - EHR, claims data, CQL, HL7
