Summary

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Electrical - Electronics Technician role based in the Greater Boston area. The technician will assemble, test, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic components and systems used in our company CHP, cooling, and heating products. Daily work includes diagnosing faults, performing repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance on control panels, sensors, wiring, and related hardware. The role involves reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings, performing precise soldering and wiring tasks, and documenting test results, findings, and corrective actions. The technician will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to support product improvements, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and assist in commissioning and supporting units in the field as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Electronics Technology and Electricity, with the ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Hands-on proficiency in Soldering and assembly of electronic components and harnesses.
  • Proven Troubleshooting skills for electrical and electronic systems, including diagnostics, fault isolation, and root-cause analysis.
  • Experience with Maintenance & Repair of industrial or commercial electrical/electronic equipment and control systems.
  • Technical diploma, associate degree, or equivalent experience in electronics, electrical technology, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe work practices around energized equipment.
  • Ability to use electrical test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators) and basic mechanical tools.
  • Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a manufacturing and engineering environment.
  • Experience with CHP systems, engines, HVAC, or industrial controls is a plus.
