Summary

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong cybersecurity and data pipeline experience to build and manage security data ingestion pipelines using Cribl, Vector, Splunk, or similar tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage scalable data ingestion pipelines for 100+ cybersecurity data sources.
  • Work with Cribl, Vector, and other data pipeline platforms.
  • Develop data parsing, transformation, filtering, enrichment, and routing logic.
  • Normalize security data using OCSF standards.
  • Integrate data sources such as Syslog, Kafka, HTTP, and cloud storage.
  • Ensure data quality, security, monitoring, and end-to-end traceability.
  • Collaborate with security, analytics, and platform teams.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of cybersecurity experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with Cribl, Vector, Splunk, Datadog, or similar tools.
  • 5+ years of scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
  • Strong knowledge of Syslog, log parsing, data transformation, and security telemetry.
