Hybrid two weeks onsite a month in Smithfield, RI

Our client provides integrated workplace solutions, including defined contribution, defined benefit, health and welfare, human resources, and payroll services. The organization serves more than 10 million employees across nearly 24,000 clients, delivering recordkeeping, administration, calculations, disbursements, and education for retirement and benefits programs.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $60.00 to $65.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate end-to-end delivery across analysis, estimation, scheduling, design, implementation, testing, and approvals.
  • Partner with business change enablement and technology chapters to plan and deliver increments and quarterly objectives.
  • Facilitate impact analysis and communicate changes across development teams while managing the delivery calendar.
  • Align strategy and execution with product management, product owners, and value stream partners.
  • Monitor development for bottlenecks and provide guidance to remove impediments.
  • Manage workflow for committed features and work items, ensuring system-of-record updates.
  • Promote effective communication and handoffs between departments and teams.
  • Create and manage the delivery calendar for each program increment and lead weekly team syncs.
  • Support product management and architecture in gathering product feature requirements and serve as liaison between customers and design teams.
  • Enhance and improve department processes and readiness artifacts, including consolidated PI achievements.
  • Operate effectively in a matrix environment across cross-functional teams.

Experience Requirements:

  • 12+ years of information technology experience with a track record in software development, engineering management, project or program management.
  • Recent hands-on development experience with coding technologies such as Java and Angular.
  • Demonstrated leadership of large, complex technology projects with multiple deliverables, features, and dependencies.
  • Strong grasp of modern software development practices and agile delivery processes.
  • Proven ability to elicit and refine requirements through interviews, workshops, user stories, scenarios, and workflow analysis.
  • Experience defining acceptance criteria and end-to-end validation points for features and epics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex customer needs and transactions.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to analyze production impact and manage change.
  • Effective planning, scheduling, coordination, and prioritization skills with clear communication.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team while maintaining speed and agility.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience executing projects in an Agile environment with test-driven and automation-driven methodologies.
