Summary
We are looking for an IT Support Administrator with strong expertise with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and strong Active Directory and experience with que management. The ecosystem we support has 22 gold images and 66 host pools. You will also support change management processes, monitoring, and automation for a stable and secure IT environment. This is a remote based opportunity.
We can ONLY consider people in Chicago, IL., St. Louis, MO or Grand Rapids, MI. Travel will be up to 10%. We're targeting rate at 40-45/hr. This is a long term opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, including:
o Local laptops used only for AVD connectivity
o Golden image management and software deployment
o Distribution of new software to AVD hosts
Understand and apply AVD concepts to daily operations
Implement and support change management processes
Administer Windows Server infrastructure:
o Active Directory (AD)
o Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
o Intune endpoint management
Manage and support:
o Printerlogic for printer management
Requirements:
Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop
Que / Ticket Management
Familiarity with Intune, Entra ID, and endpoint management a plus
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Follow the established change management processes
