Network Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is partnering with a leading enterprise organization in Pittsburgh, PA that is seeking a Network Architect to drive network modernization, cloud transformation, security, and automation initiatives. This is a highly visible opportunity to shape the future state architecture of a large enterprise network environment while leading cloud and infrastructure transformation efforts. This role is hybrid - 3 days a week onsite.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design and architect secure, scalable enterprise network solutions
* Lead cloud networking and data center transformation projects
* Drive network security, resiliency, business continuity, and disaster recovery initiatives
* Implement network automation and orchestration capabilities
* Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers
* Partner with business and IT stakeholders on strategic initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of enterprise networking experience
* 3+ years of experience in a Network Architect or similar leadership role
* Strong expertise in network security, architecture, and design
* Experience with Arista, Cisco, Juniper, and/or Fortinet environments
* Cloud networking experience in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Oracle Cloud
* Experience with automation, infrastructure modernization, and governance
* Strong understanding of network resiliency, scalability, and performance
* Experience mentoring junior engineers
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
