Position Overview:
Seeking a Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to implement, configure, manage, and provide guidance on cloud infrastructure within a large enterprise Azure environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building and maintaining secure, stable cloud solutions, capable of leading technical initiatives, mentoring team members, and providing recommendations to leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage Azure resources, networking, and security policies.
• Monitor and maintain Azure infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance.
• Support mission-critical enterprise environments, including backup and disaster recovery operations.
• Plan and execute cloud migration projects from on-premises environments to Azure.
• Support production applications and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues.
• Utilize security tools such as Tenable for vulnerability management and remediation.
• Build monitoring dashboards and alerting solutions using Azure Monitor, Workbooks, and Alerts.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery (DR) strategies to minimize downtime and data loss.
• Collaborate with teams supporting .NET, Java, SQL, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and other technologies.
• Provide technical guidance to operations teams, management, and executive leadership.
Required Skills:
• Strong Azure Infrastructure Administration and Engineering experience.
• Azure Networking and Security implementation expertise.
• Enterprise Backup and Disaster Recovery experience.
• Cloud Migration experience (On-Prem to Azure).
• Production Support and Troubleshooting.
• Azure Monitor, Workbooks, and Alerting.
• Tenable or similar vulnerability management tools.
• Strong understanding of OSI model and network protocols.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Microsoft Azure certifications (Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.).
• Networking certifications (Network+, CCNA, etc.).
