Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Gather/analyze requirements for crypto trading platforms, collateral management, and on-chain settlement systems (e.g., integrating with Coinbase Prime, Fireblocks).

Author BRDs/FRDs for SEC/FINRA-compliant workflows: spot trading, derivatives (perps/options), lending, and staking services.

Perform gap analysis between legacy IB systems (e.g., Murex/SUNGARD) and blockchain layers (Ethereum L2s, Solana, Hyperledger).

Model risks: liquidity, counterparty exposure, oracle failures, smart contract vulnerabilities; support VaR/ stress testing for crypto portfolios.

Liaise with compliance on MiCA/SEC regs, KYT/AML for mixers/tornado.cash, and CFTC reporting for derivatives.

Drive UAT for API integrations (FIX protocol + Web3 bridges) and prototype tokenization of RWAs (bonds, funds).

Required Experience:

6-10 years BA in investment banking/capital markets, 2+ years crypto/DeFi (trading desks, prime services).

Technical: SQL/Python for trade data analysis, BPMN/Visio, Jira/Confluence; familiar with Chainlink oracles, MEV protection.

Domain: Equities/FX derivatives transitioning to crypto equivalents; custody (JPM Coin, Circle), stablecoin ops (USDC reserves).

US regs: Dodd-Frank, Reg SCI; crypto-specific ( SAB 121 accounting, GENIUS Act pilots).

Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's Finance/CS/MBA; CFA/FRM Level II or Certified Blockchain Expert (CBE).
