Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP FICO Consultant with 14+ years of SAP experience to join our team remotely in Canada. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO), with extensive experience in SAP implementations, rollouts, configuration, production support, integration, and business process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver SAP FICO implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
• Configure and support SAP FI modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
• Configure and manage SAP CO processes including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO functional solutions.
• Design and configure financial processes based on business and industry requirements.
• Handle S/4HANA Finance implementation and transformation initiatives.
• Configure financial master data, document types, posting keys, account determination, payment terms, and financial document processing.
• Work on period-end, month-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Configure automatic payment processes, bank accounting, electronic bank statements, and reconciliation processes.
• Support integration between SAP FICO and MM, SD, PP, WM, and other SAP modules.
• Work closely with technical teams for functional specifications, enhancements, interfaces, reports, forms, and workflows.
• Lead functional testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
• Prepare functional specifications and business process documentation.
• Provide production support, incident management, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Conduct workshops with business stakeholders and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Support data migration, reconciliation, cutover, and go-live activities.
• Provide user training and knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Mentor junior SAP FICO consultants and provide functional leadership when required.

Required Skills

• 14+ years of SAP FICO experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI and CO.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Profitability Analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting and controlling business processes.
• Experience in SAP FICO configuration and customization.
• Strong integration knowledge with SAP MM and SAP SD.
• Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, enhancement, and production support projects.
• Excellent knowledge of financial closing and reporting processes.
• Strong experience in requirement gathering, functional analysis, testing, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation experience.
• SAP Fiori and SAP Analytics Cloud exposure.
• Experience with Central Finance (CFIN) is an advantage.
• Experience with SAP integration and third-party financial systems.
• Exposure to financial data migration and reconciliation.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Strong experience working with business stakeholders in North American projects.
