Position Overview
Seeking an enterprise-grade Oracle EPM EPBCS Consultant with 8–10 years of experience to anchor a multi-year Finance Transformation initiative. This advanced role balances deep EPBCS configuration with automated cloud data ingestion and the strategic enablement of emerging Oracle EPM AI Agents to streamline forecasting, anomaly detection, and monthly financial close cycles.
Key Responsibilities
* EPBCS Architecture & Custom Modeling: Configure, support, and enhance modular EPBCS functional areas including Financials, CapEx, Projects, Assets, and specialized flow custom models.
* Data Integration & Pipeline Engineering: Architect and govern end-to-end cloud data pipelines utilizing Data Integration/Data Exchange, Data Management (FDMEE concepts), and EPM Automate.
* API & System Interconnectivity: Develop and execute customized REST API integration scripts and Linux automation frameworks to mesh Oracle Cloud EPM seamlessly with Oracle ERP, flat files, downstream Oracle FDI reporting layers, and AWS Snowflake environments.
* AI Agent Implementation: Provision and tune native Oracle EPM AI Agents to automate data validations, automated variance calculations, intercompany reconciliation tasks, narrative text generation, and intelligent anomaly detection logic.
* Governance & Master Data Alignment: Optimize enterprise metadata sync processes by configuring structure definitions across Oracle EDMCS platforms.
* Finance Process Redesign: Partner closely with FP&A directors, Controllers, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate complex planning, forecasting, and consolidation goals into scalable, automated workflows.
Required Skillset
* Experience: 8–10 years of dedicated, hands-on software development and configuration experience within Oracle EPM Cloud ecosystems (EPBCS mandate).
* Integration Tech Stack: Advanced functional mastery utilizing Data Integration, Data Exchange, Data Management mapping rules, and EPM Automate utility tools.
* Automation Engineering: Strong, proven expertise writing automation scripts, querying REST APIs, and working within Linux command shells.
* Intelligent Automation: Practical, working knowledge of AI/ML concepts with documented experience setting up Oracle EPM AI Agents or related cognitive cloud automations.
* Domain Expertise: Deep foundational understanding of corporate accounting, monthly close cycles, scenario rollovers, and FP&A business practices.
