SAP Materials Management (MM) Functional Consultant / Architect

About the Role

We are looking for a senior SAP Materials Management (MM) Functional Consultant / Architect who has strong experience with procurement, purchasing, inventory, and materials processes in SAP.

The consultant will work with business teams to understand requirements, design SAP solutions, configure the system, manage integrations, support testing, and resolve production issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with business users to understand purchasing, procurement, inventory, and material management requirements.
• Lead workshops and perform business process analysis and gap analysis.
• Design and implement Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including purchasing and procurement.
• Configure SAP for materials, purchasing, inventory management, organizational structures, master data, and pricing.
• Support inventory management and material valuation processes.
• Work with other SAP teams to integrate Materials Management with:
  • Finance & Controlling (FI/CO)
  • Sales & Distribution (SD)
  • Production Planning (PP)
  • Quality Management (QM)
• Prepare test scenarios and scripts and support unit testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Support data migration and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot SAP issues and provide production support.
• Create functional specifications and work with ABAP developers on technical solutions.
• Act as the main functional contact between business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with SAP Materials Management (SAP MM).
• Experience with procurement and purchasing processes.
• Strong Procure-to-Pay (P2P) experience.
• Experience with Inventory Management and Material Valuation.
• SAP MM configuration and implementation experience.
• Understanding of integration with FI/CO, SD, PP, and QM.
• Experience with testing, UAT, data migration, and production support.
• Strong communication and business-facing skills.
