Position Overview

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS) with settlement implementation and compliance management initiatives. This role will focus on project coordination, compliance tracking, stakeholder communication, documentation management, and risk monitoring to ensure successful execution of settlement-related operational requirements.


Purpose of the Role

The selected contractor will provide project management support to help OMHSAS maintain compliance with settlement agreement obligations related to mental health and substance abuse operational programs and initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track compliance obligations associated with settlement agreements
  • Maintain centralized implementation plans, milestones, and deliverables
  • Develop and maintain:
    • Compliance tracking dashboards
    • Master compliance tracking systems
    • Risk and issue logs
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders and operational teams involved in settlement implementation efforts
  • Organize and facilitate:
    • Meetings
    • Workgroups
    • Coordination sessions
  • Prepare meeting agendas, summaries, action items, and follow-up documentation
  • Track project action items, milestones, and deliverables
  • Identify potential risks, barriers, or delays impacting compliance obligations
  • Escalate implementation issues and project concerns to leadership when necessary
  • Assist with organizing compliance-related documentation and supporting evidence
  • Review operational processes and activities for alignment with settlement requirements
  • Prepare regular project status reports and implementation updates

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4–6 years of relevant Project Management or Project Coordination experience
  • Strong experience with:
    • Project coordination
    • Compliance tracking
    • Documentation management
    • Risk and issue management
    • Stakeholder coordination
  • Ability to:
    • Coordinate cross-functional operational teams
    • Escalate implementation challenges appropriately
    • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • High degree of business and technical knowledge

    • Meeting summaries
    • Action item tracking
    • Compliance documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
