Job Description:
looking for strong SQL developer skillset candidates with data testing & validation mindset.
Responsibilities:
A hands-on QA Engineer with ~6 years of experience focused on data validation and testing of database objects across SQL Server, and Oracle. Write clear, maintainable SQL queries for validation, profiling, and troubleshooting data issues.
Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria for data pipelines and DB changes.
Execute performance/regression checks for critical queries and flag regressions due to schema or logic updates.
Work with data engineers, analysts, and product owners to clarify mappings and acceptance criteria.
Perform source-to-target validation, including record-level reconciliation, aggregates, and checksum/hash comparisons.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with SQL queries for validation, profiling and troubleshooting data issues
3+ years of experience in data validation
QA mindset for data validations
BS in computer science or related field
