About the Role
Join our growing platform engineering team as a hands-on Tech Lead with strong technical depth and leadership experience. You'll drive greenfield development of our Data Product Interface a foundational layer delivering secure, performant access to enterprise card data. Guide a team of talented engineers, shape system design and architecture, and dive into critical coding. Balance technical leadership, code quality, and mentorship while collaborating with senior and junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation discussions for scalable, API-based features.
• Write high-quality, well-tested Golang code for performance-critical and concurrent systems.
• Conduct and lead code reviews to uphold standards, best practices, and architectural alignment.
• Partner with product managers, architects, and engineers to refine features and roadmap.
• Mentor engineers to foster technical growth and collaboration.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, race conditions, and reliability problems.
• Champion CI/CD, observability, and automation best practices in AWS.

• Languages: Golang (primary); Python/TypeScript (desirable)
• Cloud: AWS (Serverless-first)
• Services: Fargate, Lambda, DynamoDB, Route53, API Gateway, ALB
• Tools: GitHub, Terraform (IaC), CloudWatch, CI/CD pipelines

What We re Looking For

• 5+ years backend software development; 2+ years in technical leadership/team lead roles.
• Deep hands-on Golang experience building scalable, reliable APIs.
• Strong AWS serverless expertise (Fargate, Lambda, DynamoDB).
• Proven skills in designing robust systems and fixing concurrency/performance issues.
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving collaborative decisions.
• Excellent communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Nice-to-have: Data platforms, access layers, high-throughput systems.
