Senior Technical Project Manager, Retail Infrastructure Deployment
Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead the implementation and deployment of two critical retail infrastructure initiatives focused on PIN Pad hardware rollout and store technology modernization. This role will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end project delivery, coordinating cross-functional technical teams, and managing external vendors to ensure successful deployment across retail store locations.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on project leader with experience delivering large-scale retail technology implementations. They possess strong stakeholder management skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a demonstrated track record of driving complex projects to completion on schedule and within budget.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of retail infrastructure projects focused on PIN Pad deployment across store locations.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, resource requirements, budgets, and forecasting models.
  • Build and manage cross-functional project teams, assigning responsibilities and ensuring accountability for project outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain program governance, reporting structures, and project management best practices.
  • Drive project execution through regular status meetings, milestone reviews, issue management, and performance tracking.
  • Partner with internal technical teams, retail operations, and external vendors to coordinate deployment activities.
  • Monitor project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively escalate critical issues when required.
  • Manage vendor deliverables, dependencies, and implementation schedules to ensure successful project completion.
  • Communicate project status, risks, key decisions, and progress updates to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Ensure project objectives, business requirements, and customer needs are clearly defined, documented, and successfully delivered.
  • Facilitate collaboration across multiple stakeholders to resolve complex technical and operational challenges.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of project or program management experience leading large-scale technology implementations.
  • Experience managing retail store deployment or infrastructure implementation projects.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, and third-party partners.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills.
  • Experience managing project risks, dependencies, and issue resolution processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with retail technology deployments, hardware rollouts, or store modernization initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, payment technologies, or retail networking infrastructure.
  • Experience implementing PIN Pad or payment terminal solutions.
  • Demonstrated success leading geographically distributed deployment programs.
  • Experience with project governance frameworks, portfolio management concepts, and enterprise project management tools.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across technical and business teams.
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience motivating teams and managing competing priorities.
