Location: Hybrid in Hartford, CT

Description: This role will be primarily responsible for managing and supporting DNS, DHCP, IP Management infrastructure and services, on premise and in the cloud, and support service automation and pipeline development for delivery to end users. Additional consideration for skills in analysis, design, test, and evaluation of data center network technologies. Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in network platform management and understanding of technical concepts essential for effective networking
- Awareness of industry trends and business priorities within the networking domain
- Bachelors degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent work experience plus 4 years of relevant network engineering experience
- Intermediate skills in accurately estimating timelines for network tasks and ensuring solution-focused work
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with a focus on long-term network solutions
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex networking concepts to business stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership ability to mentor less experienced engineers and foster a team-oriented environment
Responsibilities
- Manage and support DNS, DHCP, and IP management infrastructure and services both on-premises and in the cloud
- Assist in service automation and pipeline development for end-user delivery
- Conduct complex analysis, design, and implementation of network infrastructure platforms across cloud and on-premises environments
- Define and implement advanced technical requirements for network solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code best practices
- Design and optimize network deployment processes and automation workflows for hybrid cloud settings
- Collaborate on the architecture of robust network infrastructure supporting connectivity services
- Independently tackle well-defined and ambiguous network engineering challenges in complex scenarios
- Establish comprehensive monitoring and disaster recovery systems for network environments
- Provide technical guidance to junior network engineers and expand knowledge in emerging technologies
- Perform additional duties as assigned
