About the RoleIn this contingent resource assignment, you will contribute to large-scale, complex initiatives within Information Security Engineering. You will evaluate and address multifaceted security challenges, often involving unprecedented variables, and provide expert guidance to support organizational goals. This role requires strong technical depth, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities- Consult on large-scale programs with significant impact across Information Security Engineering.
- Analyze and solve complex, multi-dimensional security engineering challenges.
- Evaluate long-term security considerations, including intangible or novel risk factors.
- Contribute to the development and execution of strategies aligned with policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Partner with client personnel to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions.
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent combination of experience, consulting, training, military service, or education.
- 4+ years of experience with information security applications and systems.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, and supporting SSO platforms (e.g., Okta, Ping).
- Demonstrated experience supporting applications in distributed, highly available, mission-critical environments.
- Proficiency in Agent-based, Web-based, and Federated Authentication and Authorization standards.
- Strong hands-on expertise with major SSO technologies and protocols such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, FIDO, and SAML 2.0.
Preferred Qualifications- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of LDAP, Active Directory, MFA, risk-based authentication, and privileged access management.
- Experience deploying and integrating IAM solutions in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
- Understanding of complex enterprise systems and frameworks, including front-end, middleware, services layer, databases, and backend integrations.
- Technical writing experience related to storage, middleware, or virtualization.
- Strong leadership and negotiation capabilities.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization strategies.
