Summary

IDR is seeking a Workstation Technician. The role is based onsite in Lacrosse, WI, supporting a one-year contract for a client. In this position, you will provide technical support related to computer hardware and software, assist with customer service inquiries, and utilize ticket tracking software for documentation. The role combines hands-on technical work with customer interactions and collaboration with team members.

Position Overview for the Workstation Technician:

Provide technical support for computer hardware and software issues in a timely and professional manner.
Use ticket tracking software to document operations and customer requests.
Support high-priority projects and adapt workload based on requirements.
Evaluate customer requests to determine appropriate IT solutions, including hardware or software recommendations.
Assist with activities requiring physical effort, including lifting up to seventy-five pounds and working in various physical positions.

Requirements for the Workstation Technician:

Two (2) years of customer service experience supporting computers.
Good organizational skills, along with excellent written and oral communication skills.
Understanding of computer-related terminology such as CPU, Internet, Networking, Client/Server, LAN/WAN.
Ability to tolerate physical activities including bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and working with arms above shoulder level.
Must be able to lift seventy-five pounds or more.
