Role: SAP Basis Manager

Location: King of Prussia, PA (Remote)
Duration: 12 Months

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Manager to oversee SAP technical operations, maintain system stability and performance, and lead client-facing delivery activities while coordinating onsite and offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage SAP Basis administration across SAP S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver, and other SAP landscapes.

  • Oversee SAP upgrades, migrations, system copies, system refreshes, patching, and performance tuning.

  • Ensure system availability, security, monitoring, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery readiness.

  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues, manage escalations, and drive root cause analysis.

  • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to manage technical risks and ensure timely delivery.

  • Lead and guide onsite/offshore teams, manage task allocation, and ensure adherence to service delivery commitments.

  • Support SAP environments hosted on cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in SAP Basis, SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA Database, and SAP NetWeaver.

  • Hands-on expertise in SAP upgrades, migrations, system copies, refreshes, and performance optimization.

  • Knowledge of SAP system security, monitoring, backup, high availability, and disaster recovery.

  • Exposure to SAP cloud environments, preferably Azure or AWS.

  • Excellent leadership, client communication, stakeholder management, and technical problem-solving skills.

  • Proven experience managing onsite/offshore teams and coordinating SAP technical delivery.
