Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) Engineer - Saviynt, Microsoft Entra ID & Active Directory

Experienced Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) professional with expertise in Saviynt, Microsoft Entra ID, and Active Directory, responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting identity and access governance solutions. Key responsibilities include configuring and customizing Saviynt, developing compliance and audit reporting, and designing access governance processes such as access requests, certifications, Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) workflows, and identity lifecycle management for human users, machine identities, and service accounts. Skilled in designing and integrating connectors between Saviynt and enterprise systems, including HR platforms, business applications, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID, ensuring secure, scalable, and auditable identity lifecycle processes.

Key Responsibilities

Identity Governance & Administration

• Design, implement, and support Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions using Saviynt.
• Configure and customize Saviynt to support enterprise identity governance requirements.
• Develop and maintain customized reports in Saviynt to support compliance, audit, and operational needs.
• Design and document access governance processes, including:
• Access requests
• Access reviews / certifications
• Joiner-Mover-Leaver processes
• Internal and external user access lifecycle management
• Establish governance models for:
• Human identities
• Machine identities
• Service accounts

Connector Design & Integration

• Design and implement connectors between Saviynt and enterprise source systems, including:
• HR platforms
• Business applications
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Microsoft Entra ID
• Build customized connectors for business applications to extract:
• Security data
• Identity data
• Governance-related information
• Ensure connectors support secure, scalable, and auditable identity lifecycle processes.

Microsoft Entra ID & Active Directory Administration

• Design, create, and manage groups in Entra ID and apply appropriate access and governance policies.
• Create, configure, and maintain policies in Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory.
• Customize user experience elements and workflows in both Entra ID and Saviynt where applicable.
• Support identity and access configurations across Development, QA, and Production environments.

Process Design & Governance

• Create solution designs, workflow diagrams, and process flows for IAM and IGA services.
• Define and improve governance controls for identity lifecycle, privileged access, and service account management.
• Partner with stakeholders to align IAM processes with business, security, and compliance requirements.

Delivery & Collaboration

• Participate in solution delivery following SDLC and CI/CD practices.
• Work effectively within both Waterfall and Agile iterative project environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, infrastructure, application teams, compliance, and business stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support teams and projects across different time zones.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management or Identity Governance.
• Hands-on expertise with Saviynt as an identity governance platform.
• Strong experience designing connectors between Saviynt and enterprise systems such as:
• HR systems
• Business applications
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Microsoft Entra ID
• Experience developing custom integrations/connectors to collect security and identity governance information from business applications.
• Experience creating custom reports in Saviynt.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID administration and policy management.
• Experience designing and implementing workflows for:
• Access requests
• Access reviews
• Internal and external users
• Human and non-human identities
• Experience managing service accounts, machine identities, and governance controls.
• Experience configuring IAM/IGA tools across Development, QA, and Production environments.
• Familiarity with SDLC and CI/CD development processes.
• Working knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively across different time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with IAM security controls, compliance, and audit requirements.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical IAM/IGA solutions.
• Experience producing architecture diagrams, workflow documentation, and operational procedures.
