Quality Lab Technician


Pay: $28/hour

Contract: 6 months, with potential for extension

Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights, 7 AM-7 PM / 7 PM-7 AM)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Lab Technician to perform laboratory testing and support quality control in a manufacturing environment. This role involves testing materials and finished products, documenting results, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform raw material, in-process, and finished product testing.
  
  


• Collect samples and accurately document test results.
  
  


• Maintain laboratory records and enter data into tracking systems.
  
  


• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
  
  


• Follow established testing procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  
  


• Communicate test results to production and quality teams.
  
  


• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory.
  
  


• Support quality audits and continuous improvement efforts.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous laboratory, quality control, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  
  


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  
  


• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and data entry.
  
  


• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
  
  


• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  
  


• Comfortable working with chemicals and laboratory equipment.
  
  


• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  
  


• Must be able to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts.
