#Position Overview
Seeking an experienced WCS/WMS Consultant with 6 to 10 years of experience for an onsite position in Burlington, NJ.
The position requires strong expertise in Manhattan WMS and hands-on integration with Dematic MHE WCS (Warehouse Control System).
The consultant will manage operational support and system enhancements across distribution centers (DCs) on both East and West coasts, coordinating directly with MHE vendors, troubleshooting issues via PL/SQL and Unix scripting, and driving warehouse process improvements.
#Key Responsibilities
* WMS & WCS Application Support: Provide technical and functional support across Manhattan WMS and Dematic MHE WCS systems for 3 DCs on the East Coast and 3 DCs on the West Coast.
* MHE Vendor Coordination & Incident Management: Manage, track, and resolve production incidents, collaborating directly with Dematic and other MHE automation vendors.
* Technical Scripting & Data Engineering: Write and optimize PL/SQL queries and Unix Shell scripts to analyze data, resolve backend errors, and automate operational workflows.
* LMS & Reporting Configurations: Perform Labor Management System (LMS) configurations and leverage SCI Cognos Reporting to track operational metrics and warehouse productivity.
* Process Optimization & Automation: Identify bottleneck operational processes and design automated solutions to optimize overall warehouse distribution efficiency.
#Required Qualifications
* Core Experience: 6 to 10 years of experience in supply chain, warehouse management, and automated control systems.
* Primary WMS & WCS Systems: Direct hands-on experience in Manhattan WMS and Dematic MHE WCS.
* Technical Capabilities: Strong proficiency in PL/SQL and Unix Scripting.
* Preferred Knowledge: Experience with Labor Management System (LMS) configurations and SCI Cognos Reporting.
* Work Setup & Location: 100% Onsite in Burlington, NJ 08016 (Open to relocation candidates).
