Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Cloud GenAI Platform Engineer to support an enterprise Generative AI platform enabling predictive and generative AI inferencing across both Google Cloud Platform and Azure environments.

This role is focused on platform/infrastructure provisioning rather than application development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure, with the ability to provision secure, scalable, and repeatable cloud environments for internal AI platform consumers.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
    • Projects, IAM, service enablement, console navigation
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
    • Subscriptions, Resource Groups, RBAC/IAM, portal navigation
  • 3+ years of experience with:
    • Terraform (IaC, modularization, debugging, state management)
    • Docker / Containers
    • Kubernetes (Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, troubleshooting)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across:
    • IAM/RBAC permissions
    • Container/runtime issues
    • Kubernetes environments
    • Networking/API connectivity

Responsibilities

  • Provision secure cloud environments for GenAI platform consumers
  • Automate infrastructure using Terraform
  • Deploy and troubleshoot containerized services
  • Manage Kubernetes workloads and platform integrations
  • Configure IAM, entitlements, and security baselines
  • Collaborate with platform, security, and operations teams
  • Perform root cause analysis and issue resolution

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to GenAI governance/guardrails
  • API gateway and rate limiting experience
  • Experience in regulated enterprise environments

Experience

  • 6–10+ years in Cloud / Platform Engineering roles

Work Model

  • Hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC
