Your role in our mission

Play a critical part in ensuring Gainwell is meeting our clients' objectives in important areas.

  • Design, coding, and testing documentation to create a technical product that meets client expectations.
  • Perform vital development, domain, application design, and database methodologies
  • Serve as a technical consultant to senior management for complex projects - from modifying existing apps to designing new application modules and components.
  • Applications development in C and support across all phases of the full development life cycle
  • Software and product design methodologies
  • Application implementation across the development life cycle
  • Application development policies and procedures; and analysis
  • Team player with strong communication skills to be effective in interfacing with application developers, clients, and leadership.
  • Unit and Test-Driven Development Environment.
  • Available for on call cycles and resolution


What we're looking for

3+ years of applications development and Batch programming with UNIX/LINUX and C.

Experience in the following:
    • Good analytical skills
    • SQL (MS SQL Server, SQL Developer, Oracle)
    • XML
    • Visual Studio Code
    • Microsoft Azure DevOps
    • GIT
    • IWS
    • Python
    • Medicaid and Medicare systems is desired
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and ODM

  • Fully remote opportunity with the option to work anywhere within the United States
  • Opportunities to travel through your work (0-10%)
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation

The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
