Evolver Federal is looking for a Deputy Program Manager to join our team supporting our federal client located onsite in Bethesda, MD.

This position requires a hybrid work environment with onsite work 3-5 days per week in Bethesda, MD depending on the requirements of the program

Responsibilities:

Serve as the Deputy Program Manager responsible for assisting the Program Manager in organizing, directing, and managing all aspects of contract operational support functions involving multiple complex and interrelated project tasks that often require managing teams of contractor personnel at multiple locations.

Assist the Program manager to provide overall direction of program activities. Help manage and maintain contractor interface with the senior levels of the customer's organization. Consult with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules and costs and contractual obligations. Assist in establishing and maintaining technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and customers, organize and assign responsibilities to subordinates, oversee the successful completion of all assigned tasks, and assume the initiative and provide support to marketing personnel in identifying and acquiring potential business.

Basic Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related disciplines
  • 7 years of overall experience with increasing responsibilities in information systems design or management
  • 7 years of experience with project development and management from inception to deployment
  • 3 years of experience in the management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms, demonstrated capability in managing multi-task contracts and / or subcontracts of diverse types and complexity.
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • with the ability to obtain a Level 5 (NACIC) security clearance


Preferred Qualifications:
  • A Master of Science (MS) in Information Technology
  • Program Manager has at minimum, a Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (ITIL) v3 (or current equivalent).
  • 10 years of overall experience with increasing responsibilities in information systems design or management
  • 7 years of experience with project development and management from inception to deployment
  • 7 years of experience in the management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms, demonstrated capability in managing multi-task contracts and / or subcontracts of diverse types and complexity.
  • Experience managing a program of at least 50 employees and supporting a customer with at least 3000 users.
