Summary

job summary:

Join a high-impact development team supporting a mission-critical grant management platform used to administer education funding programs across Texas. We are seeking an experienced Software Developer III with a strong background in Microsoft .NET/.NET Core, SQL Server, and enterprise application development to design, build, and enhance modern software solutions. In this role, you will develop complex application modules, integrate Qualtrics survey data with .NET applications, participate in code reviews, and collaborate within an Agile development environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work on meaningful technology initiatives that directly support education programs while leveraging modern Microsoft technologies in a primarily remote work environment. Ideal candidates have 8+ years of .NET and SQL Server development experience, hands-on Qualtrics integration expertise, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop complex application modules using Microsoft .NET and .NET Core.
  • Build and maintain integrations between Qualtrics surveys and .NET applications.
  • Develop SQL Server database objects, queries, and stored procedures.
  • Analyze technical requirements and deliver scalable, maintainable software solutions.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and iterative software delivery.
  • Troubleshoot, enhance, and optimize existing applications.
  • Document technical designs, code changes, and implementation details.
  • Support application testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance activities.




qualifications:

Qualifications:


8+ years of experience developing applications with Microsoft .NET and .NET Core.


8+ years of SQL Server development experience.


8+ years analyzing technical requirements and delivering technical solutions.


5+ years of recent SQL Server experience (2020 or newer).


4+ years of experience with Qualtrics development and integration.


3+ years supporting funding or grant application systems.


Experience working in Agile development environments.


Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.


Preferred Qualifications:


Experience integrating enterprise applications with third-party platforms.


Experience conducting peer code reviews and mentoring development teams.


Familiarity with grant management or education-related applications.


Experience supporting public sector or government technology initiatives.
