Our organization is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual for the role of Senior Manager of Engineering with a focus on Blister Packaging. This is a permanent, full-time position within our Accounting and Finance industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Manufacturing and Engineering, specifically in the Blister and Pharma sectors. We are looking for a dynamic leader who can effectively manage and motivate a team, ensuring the highest quality of performance and output.
Responsibilities:
As the Senior Manager of Engineering, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all aspects of the engineering department, specifically focusing on blister packaging in the pharmaceutical sector.
2. Implementing and managing cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in line with product specifications and quality standards.
3. Coordinating and directing projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
4. Analyzing technology trends, human resource needs, and market demand to plan projects.
5. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards.
6. Collaborating with financial teams to establish and control the budget for design and development.
7. Managing and optimizing the utilization of production facilities to meet customer requirements.
8. Promoting innovation and encouraging a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
9. Conducting performance reviews of team members and identifying areas for improvement and development.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Manager of Engineering role will possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. A Master's degree would be an added advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the engineering sector, specifically in the manufacturing and blister packaging field.
3. Proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong understanding of blister packaging processes and requirements.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
5. Strong knowledge of financial management, with the ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to think strategically and make effective decisions.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
8. Proficiency in the use of modern manufacturing and production technologies.
9. A strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
