Summary

Job Title: Sr. Network Engineer
 

  • 3 Round of Interview 60 minutes Each, Final round will be Onsite, but the candidate is really good and ready to relocate we can skip the onsite round

Summary:

Specialize in network engineering in a global enterprise environment.

 This role will provide network engineering, implementation, analytical, and operational support. The engineer will ensure compliance to established system architecture, regulations and security policies, follow standards and best practices, and author and maintain support documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Staff Network Engineers on design and initiatives
  • Maintain current network solution within workplace, factories, and logistics warehouses
  • Function as a Tier-1/2 escalation point
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineers on requirements gathering, analyze, and propose solution to networking needs
  • Provision, implement, test/validation, and maintain networking services per solution design
  • Discipline on following change request process
  • Monitor, analyze, and report metrics of network services
  • Document network knowledgebase and operational “Run-Book”
  • Must be able to work occasional weekends, after hours, and holidays
  • 10% travel required as necessary

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years’ experience mid-large global enterprise networking infrastructure
  • Extensive experience in IP networking, L2/L3 network protocols (spanning-tree, OSPF, BGP), LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing, QOS, VLAN, ACL, application flow, NAC, and infrastructure cabling.
  • Experience with multi-vendor firewall technologies including Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, and Juniper SRX
  • Extensive experience with multi-vendor switching technologies including Juniper EX and QFX and Cisco Industrial Ethernet
  • Extensive experience with low voltage CAT6, Fiber, & IT Room layout and environmental
  • Experience with troubleshooting with circuit carriers
  • Experience with various tools such as Protocol Analyzer, Git, and Splunk
  • Experience with developing scripts to automate infrastructure deployment and collect metrics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
