Mobile Solution Architect
Location: Houston, TX (3 days a week onsite)

We're looking for a Mobile Solution Architect to lead the design and architecture of high performance mobile apps across iOS and Android. In this role, you'll define technical direction, guide engineering teams, and ensure scalable, secure, and elegant mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and guide implementation of enterprise mobile solutions across iOS, Android, and cross platform environments.
- Define mobile architecture standards, technical patterns, reusable components, and governance models.
- Collaborate with product owners, UI/UX teams, backend engineers, DevOps, and enterprise architects to align solutions with business and technical goals.
- Create architectural diagrams, integration patterns, technical design documents, and solution blueprints.
- Oversee API design, mobile-backend integration, authentication flows, and cloud/mobile service interactions.
- Ensure solutions meet enterprise requirements for scalability, security, compliance, and performance.
- Conduct architecture reviews, feasibility assessments, and provide technical leadership during development.
- Guide engineering teams on best practices in mobile frameworks, cloud services, and development lifecycle.
- Drive adoption of mobile DevSecOps practices, CI/CD automation, code quality standards, and performance monitoring.
- Participate in discovery, effort estimation, roadmap planning, and stakeholder communication.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience as a Mobile Solution Architect.
- Strong understanding of mobile design and architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture), modular component design, and scalable system integration.
- Proven ability to architect and integrate mobile applications with RESTful/GraphQL APIs, cloud services, authentication flows (OAuth/SSO), and backend systems.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of native mobile technologies such as Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, and Java, plus experience with cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter.
- Familiarity with mobile backend platforms and cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and how they support mobile architecture and services.
- Knowledge of enterprise-grade mobile security standards, encryption, authentication, application lifecycle management, and MDM/MAM tools.
- Experience with mobile DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, performance monitoring, and deployment workflows.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills; able to translate business requirements into architectural solutions.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
