Job Title: ChatGPT Governance & Adoption Specialist

Location: Reston, VA

Overview

This role involves designing and implementing frameworks and guardrails for the responsible and effective use of ChatGPT across the organization. The specialist will also collaborate with technical and business teams to drive adoption, provide training, conduct workshops, and create documentation, ensuring that ChatGPT becomes an integral part of day-to-day work processes. Additionally, the role requires leveraging AWS cloud services to support scalable and secure deployment of ChatGPT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Framework and Guardrail Implementation:

  • Define and implement governance frameworks, policies, and best practices for ChatGPT use within the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory data privacy and security standards, leveraging AWS security services such as AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Monitor and manage risks associated with ChatGPT adoption by establishing robust operational guardrails, including AWS CloudTrail for auditing and compliance.

Support and Enablement:

  • Assist technical and business teams in understanding and adopting ChatGPT for their workflows, integrating it with AWS services like Amazon S3, AWS Lambda, and Amazon RDS.
  • Provide hands-on support to teams, guiding them on how to maximize ChatGPT's potential while adhering to governance policies.
  • Troubleshoot issues, resolve concerns, and provide on-demand advisory for ChatGPT-related queries, including those involving AWS cloud infrastructure.

Training and Advocacy:

  • Conduct workshops, webinars, and demonstrations to promote ChatGPT adoption across the organization.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, training materials, and FAQs to educate employees on ChatGPT use cases and its integration with AWS services.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and end users to bridge knowledge gaps and ensure smooth adoption.

Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Continuously evaluate ChatGPT's usage within the organization and recommend optimizations to improve efficiency and effectiveness, leveraging AWS monitoring tools like Amazon CloudWatch and AWS X-Ray.
  • Collect user feedback and insights to improve the governance framework and adoption strategies.
  • Optimize ChatGPT deployments using AWS cost management tools to ensure cost efficiency.

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

Experience/Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in implementing frameworks, policies, or governance processes within an enterprise setting.
  • Experience deploying or supporting AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar technologies in a professional environment.
  • Strong understanding of AI governance, compliance, risk management, and ethical AI principles.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including compute (EC2, Lambda), storage (S3), networking (VPC), and databases (RDS, DynamoDB).
  • Familiarity with AWS security and compliance tools, such as IAM, AWS Shield, AWS WAF, and CloudTrail.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with experience conducting workshops or training sessions.
  • Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams to drive project success.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing adoption strategies for new technologies in complex organizations.
  • Familiarity with AWS AI/ML services, such as Amazon SageMaker or AWS AI APIs.
  • Certifications in AWS cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialist) or governance-related fields.
  • Knowledge of serverless architectures and event-driven workflows using AWS Lambda.
  • Experience integrating ChatGPT with AWS enterprise-grade AI platforms.
