Bill Rate: $77/hour

Required

• 15 years of experience in Java application development.
• 10 years of experience working with SQL databases, including writing SQL queries and supporting database objects.
• 8 years of experience in development and production support (sustaining) for large-scale enterprise applications within a team environment.
• 5 years of experience working in Linux environments.
• Experience in application coding, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Experience analyzing application logs, system messages, memory utilization, thread connectivity, disk I/O, and system performance.
• Experience evaluating database schemas and deploying database packages and triggers.
• Experience developing technical documentation, flowcharts, and production support documentation.
• Experience implementing application performance improvements and maintaining backup and recovery processes.
• Ability to coordinate development activities, assign work, and support project delivery.

Preferred

• 8 years of experience using the Atlassian tool suite, particularly JIRA.
• 8 years of experience working in Agile development environments.
• 2 years of experience supporting State of Texas applications, preferably within the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) environment.
• 2 years of experience migrating applications from legacy mainframe platforms to Java/SQL environments.
