Salary: $90-130K, Based on experience

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead cross-functional security initiatives spanning cybersecurity, information security, compliance, auditing, and physical security programs. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering complex security projects that protect organizational assets, ensure regulatory compliance, and reduce enterprise risk. The TPM will work closely with Security, IT, Engineering, Legal, Facilities, Risk, and executive stakeholders to ensure programs are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity, compliance, and physical security initiatives.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, Security, Facilities, and third-party vendors.
• Track milestones, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks.
• Provide executive-level status reporting and dashboards.
• Oversee projects related to:
• Security architecture improvements
• Cybersecurity
• Data protection and encryption
• Endpoint and network security
• Vulnerability management and remediation
• Physical security such as access badging and cameras
• Partner with Security Operations to support incident response readiness and improvements.
• Drive remediation efforts from penetration tests and risk assessments.
• Manage compliance initiatives for frameworks such as:
• ISO 27001
• SOC 2
• NIST
• PCI-DSS
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Track remediation of audit findings.
• Ensure documentation, evidence collection, and control implementation are completed on schedule.
• Oversee projects related to:
• Access control systems
• Surveillance systems (CCTV)
• Facility security upgrades
• Badge and visitor management systems
• Coordinate with Facilities and Corporate Security teams.
• Ensure alignment between physical and cybersecurity controls.
• Identify project-level and enterprise security risks.
• Support risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Maintain risk registers and ensure corrective actions are tracked.
• Align initiatives with organizational security strategy and governance models.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of technical project management experience.
• 3+ years managing security, compliance, or IT infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and risk management.
• Experience leading audit and compliance programs.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project).
• Preferred Certifications
• PMP (Project Management Professional)
• CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
• CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
• ITIL
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication
• Ability to translate technical risks into business impact
• Risk-based decision making
• Budget and vendor management
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
