If so, we are seeking a motivated engineer to work on complex and exciting projects at locations throughout the Northeast.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties - Work on a variety of waterfront and coastal projects throughout the region.
- Learn new skills and perform engineering analyses and design.
- Perform field surveys and inspect existing structures.
- Perform computations, analyses, and modeling, and prepare design drawings.
- Take a key role in construction field inspections for activities such as pile driving, bulkhead wall construction, and other types of coastal work.
Minimum Qualifications - B.S or M.S. in Structural or Civil Engineering, or equivalent
- 0 to 2+ years of experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess a valid driver's license
- This position has a field component; travel and some overnight stays are required, and candidates should be prepared to work in inclement conditions
Preferred Qualifications - Experience working in waterfront/coastal engineering
- Structural steel, concrete, and/or foundation design course work or experience
- Experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, programming, and modeling tools
- Passed the Fundaments of Engineering (FE) exam
