Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft CRM Functional Support Consultant to manage and support enterprise-level PeopleSoft applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administration, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of the PeopleSoft environment. This role requires strong expertise in PeopleSoft architecture, middleware, and system operations across Windows and Linux platforms, along with the ability to support business-critical applications in a 24/7 environment.
Key Responsibilities
Install, administer, secure, and maintain PeopleSoft application infrastructure, including web servers, application servers, database servers, process schedulers, report servers, and file servers
Manage environments across Windows and Linux platforms ensuring high availability and system reliability
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to middleware, database, and application performance
Apply configuration changes across WebLogic, Tuxedo, PeopleSoft, and OS layers to optimize system performance
Monitor system health, perform performance tuning, and ensure optimal application efficiency
Maintain and update architecture documentation, configuration standards, and operational procedures
Plan and execute PeopleTools and PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, and critical patch updates (CPUs)
Research and recommend improvements based on new PeopleTools releases and emerging technologies
Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) exercises, including failover testing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business requirements and system enhancements
Provide 24/7 on-call support, including evenings and weekends as required
Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Oracle PeopleSoft CRM support and administration
Strong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture and PeopleTools
Hands-on experience with WebLogic, Tuxedo, JDK/JRE, and middleware technologies
Experience with database systems (Oracle preferred) and SQL
Knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration
Experience in system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
Familiarity with patch management, upgrades, and release management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in enterprise-level PeopleSoft implementations
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
Familiarity with automation tools and scripting
Experience supporting CRM modules within PeopleSoft
