<>Job Summary:<>Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage firewall solutions to ensure the security of the organizations network.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
- Monitor network traffic and analyse security incidents to respond effectively to threats.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into existing systems and processes.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Provide training and support to staff on cybersecurity best practices and firewall management.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
- Participate in incident response planning and execution.
<>Mandatory Skills:
- Extensive knowledge and hands on experience with firewall technologies (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
- Strong understanding of network security protocols and architectures.
- Proficiency in security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
- Experience with intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
- Ability to analyse and respond to security incidents effectively.
<>Preferred Skills:
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
- Experience with cloud security and securing cloud-based applications.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Familiarity with endpoint security solutions.
- Experience in scripting or automation for security tasks.
<>Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on firewall management.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
