Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Pay Rate: $28.00- $32.50 /hour Location: Cincinnati, OH 45241 Shift: 1st Employment Type: Direct w/ Full Benefits Work Type: Hybrid #aerospacejobs #manufacturing Engineer #shouldcost Job Summary We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - Should Cost Analyst to support our well known aerospace customer for Sustainable Engines (RISE) programs, including the Open Fan, Compact Core, and other advanced technology maturation initiatives. In this role, you will provide procurement and manufacturing cost analysis expertise by developing should-cost estimates for hardware, services, and concurrent product development activities. You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, and supplier teams to evaluate manufacturing methods, assess producibility, and support fact-based cost substantiation efforts. Key Responsibilities: * Process and review should-cost requests in support of RISE technology maturation programs. * Develop detailed should-cost analyses for hardware, services, and incremental costs associated with concurrent product development efforts. * Provide procurement cost substantiation and support sourcing decisions through data-driven cost modeling and analysis. * Partner with engineering and procurement teams to evaluate manufacturing processes, producibility, and hardware manufacturability. * Participate in supplier fact-finding and technical review meetings to validate cost assumptions and manufacturing approaches. * Maintain accurate documentation, cost models, and supporting analysis while ensuring timely completion of assigned requests. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, or a related technical discipline; equivalent experience may be considered. * Capable of operating within Microsoft Office, including a high proficiency level in MS Excel and MS Outlook for email. * Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement including, but not limited to, government procurements. * Aerospace background (preferred) * GE experience (preferred) Belcan provides a competitive pay and benefits package. Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are $28.00-$32.50 per hour.
