Genesis10 is currently seeking an Infrastructure Vulnerability Remediation Coordinator for a Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. We are seeking a skilled and motivated coordinator to support a Core Technology Infrastructure (CTI) organization. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and managing the implementation of on-premises infrastructure solutions, with a critical focus on the lifecycle management of aged infrastructure and vulnerability remediation. This position requires a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.
Responsibilities: - Identify, prioritize, and coordinate vulnerability remediation efforts
- Manage aged infrastructure, technical debt, and support end-of-life and end-of-support transitions
- Focus on infrastructure hardening and risk mitigation
- Lead infrastructure deployment projects, tracking deliverables, timelines, and risks
- Execute infrastructure changes in controlled environments
- Support problem resolution during implementations
Requirements: - Strong understanding of networking (routing, firewalls, load balancers), computing (bare metal and virtual) and storage (NAS and SAN)
- Experience with Network Security Firewall & Policies
- Background in Service / Solution Delivery and Design Management
- Work directly with engineers in networking, datacentre, and third-party vendors to design and implement solutions
Desired skills: - Cloud exposure (hybrid infrastructure: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Automation/scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, Ansible)
- Knowledge of container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- ITIL or infrastructure/architecture certifications
Pay range: $58.31 - $66.31 per hour
