Rate: $70-80hr on w2
Role Overview
As a Sr. ETL Engineer, you will work in a collaborative environment to build, configure, and maintain enterprise ETL and Metadata tools and frameworks. This role involves supporting and developing processes, partnering with architecture teams, and building automation for platform management activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and develop processes, frameworks, and tools including Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica IDMC.
- Partner with architecture teams to drive platform alignment to modern architecture practices.
- Build automation for installation and platform management activities.
- Support Life Cycle Management with product roadmaps to ensure platforms are up to date through regular patching, upgrades, and decommissioning.
- Apply DevSecOps and Infrastructure as Code patterns to build automation.
- Provide production support for all platforms, including troubleshooting incidents and remediating defects.
- Apply a customer-centric mindset to collect platform feedback and engineer self-service onboarding of new use cases.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 5+ years of experience with ETL development and administration using Informatica PowerCenter 10.x, including planning and executing migrations.
- 3+ years of experience with SaaS administration.
- 2+ years of experience with ETL development and administration using Informatica IDMC, including planning and executing migrations.
- 2+ years of experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
- 2+ years of experience with container solutions, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- 2+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries.
- 2+ years of experience with calling simple REST APIs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Windows/Linux OS, including the use of Linux commands and tools for troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of application architecture best practices, SDLC, and Middleware methodologies.
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, and other infrastructure automation technologies.
- Experience with AWS implementations.
- Experience dealing with SSL certificates, renewals, requests, and conversions.
- Experience using version control systems like GitHub.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
