Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Exploration
· Analyze and interpret program requirements to translate them into data needs and reporting structures
· Serve as a subject matter expert on source data, including structure, lineage, and business meaning
· Develop and maintain a data catalog for the Digital Services program
· Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) for data related components
Data Integration & Quality
· Extract, transform, and load data from the online application into the enterprise data warehouse
· Establish extraction frequency, schedules, and data refresh processes
· Review data quality, validate transformation rules, and ensure accuracy and completeness
· Provide expertise on data sharing, access rules, and information governance
Reporting & Visualization
· Develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations that clearly communicate KPIs and program performance
· Present data in intuitive, meaningful formats tailored to business and executive audiences
· Support ad hoc analysis and provide insights to guide program decisions
Collaboration & Technical Support
· Participate in project briefings, brainstorming sessions, and cross functional working groups
· Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues across end-to-end data processes
· Contribute to solution documentation, technical specifications, and system diagrams
Required Qualifications
· 5+ years of experience in:
o Extracting data from source systems into target data warehouses
o Data analysis, data quality, and reporting
· Expert knowledge of Power BI, including DAX, modeling, and visualization best practices
· Google Analytics experience
· Strong information architecture and integration strategy skills
· Ability to interpret and follow State and Federal regulatory requirements
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience working within Local, State, or Federal government environments
· Familiarity with enterprise data warehouse environments and public sector data governance
